According to the NYTimes Google reported quarterly profits once again. How is it that the economy is taking a pummeling while this giant continues to make mad money? Today I noticed something searching for “web conferencing.” The Google has decided to move suggestions of other searches before the organic listings even start. I don’t know if this feature will be rolled out permanently, but it will have dire effects for affiliates and SEOs alike.

Recently my AdSense earnings have been dropping significantly (yes I hate Google, but I gotta pay the bills). For a while I was wondering what the hell was going on. Well my theories are correct and advertisers are pulling their ad money out of AdSense due to the recession. he clicks remained high but the payout dropped significantly indicating there are less people bidding on many of the terms I am going after. Finally this blog ranks for the term I was going after “google sucks” and has been bringing in a steady stream of traffic. The problem is when I started this blog I did not have a clear view of where I was planning to go with it. In fact it started as a place for me to vent about some of the hypocritical Google activity I saw around me.

I have been reading about how to create a blog that ads value to the readers. Don’t get me wrong I think there is value in raising awareness and most importantly questions regarding the Google. However, I want to take this blog one step further and offer something back to the readers.
