Google Checkout is Borderline Monopolistic
It is bad enough that Google rewards people who use Google Checkout by placing a Google checkout logo in your Search PPC ads which basically force everyone to adapt the same process… they now crossed a new line. They now allow you to add promotions right into the Google checkout logo.

Yea I noticed this last night when searching for Nikon batteries. I though those advertisers paid extra for it, but I guess not.
The thing is, to be monopolistic, you have to have control over the PPC industry through your own hands. Definition wise: a monopoly exists when a specific individual or enterprise has sufficient control over a particular product or service to determine significantly the terms on which other individuals shall have access to it. Monopolies are thus characterized by a lack of economic competition for the good or service that they provide and a lack of viable substitute goods.
At any time you can use another competitive PPC service as there are many other search engines offering the same kind of service…the problem is that there is no other good search engine.
Google’s search results aren’t as good anymore as they were before SEO took off. I noticed that most of the sites I visit are sites I know about already. I use Google more for searching Wikipedia than searching the net.

Yeah i dont like google because they didn’t have a result for “Taller start button”.. I require a double sized taskbar for the high amount of windows i need open to do my job, but the start button looks so stupid when it only takes up one line..

if google is so biased to them selves then why did google publish online the most searched items of 09 so far and have there enemy Bing listed in the top 10, and not mention google products anywhere ? …………
bing is good atm but just wait and see how it cooks up over time, i think microsoft has just admited by releasing bing that google is better and always will be, by the simple fact they made bing look almost identicle to goolge and are trying to use simular methods of ranking,
1 problem bing has is that it doesn’t see subdomains as indivual sites where google does - google only views subdomains as a partnership not the same friggin site.
yes google has got issues wherethere is stacks of irelivent sht sites ranking better then those based on the specific keywords and other nic-nacks but is any other search engine better ? like hell

too bad your site uses trade mark names and logo’s on here and is now cached into there system for all the proof in the world
