Google Moving to Demographics to Overtake Nielson ComScore
Google recently anounced on their blog that they will be giving away more data for ad buyers including, search queries, navigation data, and demographics. You can read about it more on this New York Times Magazine. My opinion on the whole thing is that it is just another attempt for Google to take over another vertical.
Beware the Google Web is growing. Google really is trying to build its own internet.

Go search “gay” or “lesbian” on Google and look at the right sidebar, its a rainbow. Google is taking a political stance I guess since California just legalized gay marriage.

Dr. Google Will See You Now
The Google released their Google Health product for use. If you really feel comfortable letting the Google know about your health history go ahead and use their service. The same way that they take your information and serve you ads, they will do the same thing based on your medical history.
You thought you were healthy, no wait you may have restless leg syndrome. Or how about some anti depressants?
Don’t be a fool, Google is a for profit company whose goal it is to benefit the shareholders not yours. I guarantee no one on the Google board will be using this God Forsaken service. Google health is the worst idea ever.

How Does Google Find New Pages That Have No Backlinks
The common belief is that Google finds new pages and websites by following links from other websites. This would make sense, but recently I have had two incidents which has led me to believe that good finds new pages by tracking users sits visited OR looking for links in google mail.
This is some scary stuff for both consumers and more importantly webmasters. For consumers the privacy concern is definitely something to think about. For webmasters you can have your website indexed before its even ready.
